Using the tools
Your calculations run in your browser. The site keeps your current illustration in this browser tab so you can visit a guide and return; Reset illustration clears it. Calculator figures are not sent to analytics or the exchange-rate provider. Printing or downloading a report does not require contact details.
Reports and planning enquiries
If you request an emailed report or a planning discussion, we collect the contact details, topic, preferences and other information you submit. A report request includes its calculation inputs and results. A planning enquiry from a calculator also includes the relevant details shown in the form's preview; a general enquiry has no unrelated calculation attached.
Authorised staff use this information to deliver your report, respond to the enquiry and manage follow-up. A planning request asks for contact; it does not confirm an appointment. Please do not submit identification numbers, account credentials or sensitive medical information.
Your email choices
An emailed report does not require adviser contact or a marketing subscription. These are separate, optional choices. Marketing sign-up requires email confirmation, and you can unsubscribe without an account. Leaving the box unticked on a later request does not change an existing subscription or reactivate an unsubscribed address. We retain preference and suppression records to honour your choices.
Service providers and international processing
Cloudflare provides hosting and form protection, and Resend processes email delivery and confirmed marketing subscriptions. They receive the information needed for those services, including relevant technical or delivery information. Processing may take place outside your country. Sending an enquiry does not give unrestricted permission to share your details with external advisers; any separate arrangement needs its own clear explanation.
How long information is kept
Temporary report requests and their calculation data expire after 30 days. Planning-request records expire after 180 days; new enquiries that have not progressed are also removed through routine retention checks. Saved results and ongoing contact records are handled separately and may remain beyond these periods. Security and administrative audit records are kept for up to 400 days. You can ask about the records held for you or request deletion.
Cookies and optional analytics
Essential browser storage supports your illustration and privacy choices. Optional analytics, when enabled, runs only after you accept it; Do Not Track is respected. Google Analytics can then measure approved public-page visits and interactions, without your calculator figures, contact details or private report links. Advertising consent stays denied.
Use Cookie / Privacy settings in the footer to change your choice, which is remembered for up to 180 days. Withdrawing consent stops later measurement and removes accessible analytics cookies; it does not erase information already received by Google.

Contact hello@theglobalmoneyguide.com to ask about access, correction or deletion, or to change a preference. Depending on the law that applies to you, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent or complain to a data-protection authority.
